Online Code Editor – Python, JavaScript, Java, C++ | Vytra

How your code runs: JavaScript executes locally in your browser. C, C++, Java, PHP and Python are compiled and run by the free Wandbox service — the code you write for those languages is sent there to execute.

How the Vytra Code Editor works

The editor gives you six languages in one screen: JavaScript, Python, C, C++, Java and PHP. JavaScript runs entirely inside your browser in an isolated frame — nothing is sent anywhere. The other languages (C, C++, Java, PHP, Python) are compiled and executed by Wandbox, a free public compiler service: when you press Run, the code you wrote is sent to wandbox.org, executed there, and the output comes back to the console pane. That is the same model most online IDEs use, and it is stated openly here so you know exactly what happens to your code. Do not paste passwords, keys or private data into code you run through those languages.

Beyond running code, the editor keeps a small file workspace: several files can sit side by side and be saved as one archive download. The console separates standard output from error text, the stdin box handles interactive input, and JavaScript runs post their messages back into the console from inside the isolated frame. Nothing you type is stored on Vytra's side; closing the tab clears the session.

Common editor problems

A quick example

Select Python, replace the template with a loop that prints the squares of 1 to 10, and press Run: the console prints ten lines in about a second. Switch the language to C and run again — the same window compiles and runs it through the service, and any compiler error appears in the same console.
