Core Principle: In-Browser File Processing
When you use Vytra tools (such as PDF compression, image resizing, format conversion, password generation, or calculation), your documents, photographs, and inputs are processed exclusively on your device, with two disclosed exceptions: the Translate PDF tool sends extracted sentence text to Google's translation service, and the Code Editor sends compiled-language code (C, C++, Java, PHP, Python) to Wandbox's compiler. In both cases the source file itself stays on your device. Other than those two disclosures, we do not upload, transmit, store, or view your files on any remote server.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Because Vytra operates as a static client-side web application hosted via GitHub Pages:
- No File Storage: Your PDF files, images, code snippets, tokens, and documents are never uploaded to Vytra — file handling uses HTML5 File API, WebAssembly, and Canvas within your browser sandbox. One exception: the Translate PDF tool parses your file locally but sends the extracted sentence text to Google's public translation service (translate.googleapis.com) to produce the translation. The document file itself stays on your device. The Code Editor works the same way: JavaScript runs locally in an iframe, while source code written for C, C++, Java, PHP or Python is sent to Wandbox's public compiler (wandbox.org) to compile and run.
- No Account Creation: Vytra does not require user registration, usernames, or passwords to access any tool.
- No Financial Data Collection: Our financial and academic calculators (such as Loan EMI, CGPA, Attendance) compute values strictly in local JavaScript memory. No financial figures are logged or recorded.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit Vytra, standard technical information may be collected automatically through standard internet protocols:
- Log Information: Because Vytra is hosted on GitHub Pages, GitHub may log basic connection metadata such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp in accordance with GitHub's Privacy Statement to maintain server security and DDoS prevention.
- Local Storage: We may store your non-identifying user interface preferences (such as dark/light theme choice, cookie preferences, or recent tool history) in your browser's
localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
3. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies
To keep Vytra 100% free for students, job applicants, developers, and cyber cafés, our website may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and affiliated third-party advertising networks.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website.
